OUR STORY

We are not a big corporate tour company, in fact we started with Jamie, just a one man tour organiser and guide that works with local communities with aims of reducing the amount of overfishing and provide a sustainable income through means of tourism.

This is still our exact same ethos, but with unexpected growth, Sofía has joined us to manage admin and reservations, ensuring smooth operations so we can focus on delivering unforgettable experiences.

Elias, initially an enthusiastic intern, has quickly become an key part of our team, praised in many reviews for his infectious personality and knowledge of the area and marine life.

Together, we're dedicated to providing you with unique adventures, guided by experts as passionate about nature as Jamie is. When Jamie isn't available, rest assured, you'll be in capable hands, ready to encounter the bucket-list species you desire to find!!

Our goal is to show you the true beauty of Wildlife both underwater and on land.

We believe that if we show more people how these animals live and why they are so important for our eco systems then we can encourage humans to look after Mother Nature like she looks after us.

We travel in small groups to maximise your experience interacting with the animals as well as to respect and not stress them during interactions.

Thank you, we can’t wait for you to be a part of the Baja Wild Encounters family!

Meet Jamie, your Tour organiser and Guide

Join the journey of a passionate nature lover and adventure seeker - and probably the most excited person on the boat, even though I’ve seen these animals hundreds of times!!!

Born and raised in England, due to the boredom of my life (and the rain!), I left home in search of new experiences, which led me to uncover the destruction being inflicted on the natural world by human actions.

Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, I became a self-reliant divemaster and nature guide, sharing my love for the world since 2017. With fluency in English, conversational Spanish, and even "Dolphin, Sea Lion, and Whale" (yes, really!), I will share my passion and knowledge with you all!

Join us on an unforgettable adventure, where education meets laughter and a passion for the wild!

I know one person can’t change the world alone, but changing the mindset of many can have a knock-on effect. Together we can protect Mother Nature for future generations.
